We are a home church ministry in Kansas City, Missouri.
My name is David Istre. I served as a full-time missionary in the underground church in Asia for almost ten years, where we made disciples in a persecuted context. After local leadership matured, we returned to the U.S. where I entered full-time ministry until I realized that I was being called to participate in the Lord’s renewal of the Church by returning to home church ministry.
So I’ve rebooted this webpage — which was my original blog going all the way back to 2011 — and am freely offering home church support to those who are answering a similar call in their life to begin home church ministry.
