As Election Day draws near, Christians are facing immense pressure to vote—and vote a certain way. Amid the clamor, this post encourages believers to prioritize their conscience over outside voices. Drawing on Paul's teaching in Romans 14:1-10, the post suggests that, while Scripture gives clear guidance on some issues, it allows for personal discernment in others, like political choices.
Jesus said "my Kingdom is not of this world" (John 18:36), setting his Kingdom apart from the powers of this age, but what does this mean for how Christians engage the realities of war and politics in their time?
